inda has been a mobile disc jockey for over 30 years, training in Ottawa and Victoria before becoming Newlands’ DJ Consultant 16 years ago. Along with her husband David, also with 30 years of experience, she manages a team of DJs who bring an eclectic mix of talent and experience to Newlands. Linda’s personal attention to each wedding ensures that our clients and their guests will enjoy a unique musical experience. Linda’s love and knowledge of almost every type of musical genre, including many ethnic categories, is not only an asset to our clients but also inspires great confidence that their musical vision will be heard at their event.
Sherri has over 15 years’ experience in both the wedding and photography industry and brings both a passion and dedication to her job. She loves the process of getting to know her wedding clients and working with them to achieve the photos of their dreams. Sherri represents a team of photographers with incredible expertise in their field, passionate about documenting the client’s wedding day and creating beautiful memories to last a lifetime. Sherri assists our wedding clients through their photo planning right through to selecting images for their wedding album.
Megyn has had the very rewarding opportunity to work with brides and bridal parties for over 10 years as a skilled makeup artist and she loves and appreciates being an important part of a couple’s very special day. After attending college for Art History and Psychology, Megyn wanted to dive into her more artistic side and became a certified Makeup Artist which lead her to 9 years of experience as the salon manager at ID Salon in Fort Langley. As a new addition to the Newlands Sales Team, Megyn joins us with a fresh perspective and the organizational skills to help coordinate a marvelous and memorable wedding.
Kelsi has been with Newlands since 1999. Along her journey at Newlands Kelsi has found herself in the role of decorator, design studio manager, catering sales coordinator and now Finishing Touch Director. Kelsi has planned hundreds of weddings and has a true passion for her job. She adores dealing with people and assisting her clients in navigating through the wedding planning process.
Christa’s passion for event planning began while traveling through the Rocky Mountains and Whistler working with The Fairmont and Delta Hotel chains. She joined the Newlands teams in 2000 after completing her Sales and Marketing Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism. Christa’s vast experience at Newlands includes decorating, floral, photography, administration and food & beverage. This comprehensive involvement gives her an understanding and appreciation to the role each department holds when executing successful events.
Caylea began her career in wedding planning in 1997 when she started working with Newlands as Catering Sales Coordinator. Caylea loves working with people, and takes great reward in assisting her clients through the process of planning a wedding. Caylea has always had a passion for colour, design, and fashion trends; this has become an integral part of her role at Newlands. As Sales & Design Coordinator, Caylea offers attention to detail and a creative flare with each of her Events. With 20 years of sales, Design, and Event planning experience, Caylea Continues to provide excellent service within both the Catering Sales and Design departments at Newlands..
Alain Daniel is a seasoned Food & Beverage professional who took his formal training in France and worked in the service industry there until moving to Canada. He was instrumental in bringing French cuisine to the west coast by opening the first French restaurant in Vancouver, Le Napoleon. After the success of Le Napoleon, Alain continued to work in the industry as Food & Beverage Manager of some of Vancouver’s most prestigious hotels. Alain joined Newlands in 2005 and brought a wealth of knowledge in planning and implementing weddings. Alain is very detail oriented and is pleased to share his expertise in planning the perfect worry free wedding for our clients.
